Marvel Legends Invisible Woman Review

Marvel Legends Invisible Woman

The Hasbro Marvel Legends Invisible Woman is a Walgreen’s exclusive. If you’re new to the action figure collecting hobby, that means in 6 months she will be marked down to $4 most likely.

That’s a real shame because she is a great looking figure.

What’s in the Marvel Legends Invisible Woman box?

She comes packed with her robot lover, H.E.R.B.I.E. No, I won’t tell you what that is an acronym for, mainly because I don’t know, and even though I’ve had 39 years to look it up, well, I’ve been busy. At the time of the ’78 cartoon, the Torch was optioned for a solo movie so they couldn’t use him in the cartoon (because, REASONS!) and since it wasn’t the “Tubular Three,” they needed a fourth. Enter H.E.R.B.I.E. That’s all you need to know about him.

The Marvel Legends Invisible Woman comes with an extra “invisible” hand to swap out, and the aforementioned robot. Both of her transparent hands are jazz hands, which makes her even more fabulous. The sculpt is beautiful, the costume is classic.  Hasbro still lacks the technology to give female figures double jointed elbows, but besides that, she’s great. Now they need to get on with making the rest of the classic team. For now, my smash action Ben Grimm makes a decent companion.

Bottom line, if you see her, pick her up.

What do you think of her? Would you like to see an entire FF rogue’s gallery? We’re due for another Doom. Also, the guys taking pictures of the empty package, because she’s invisible? Let me speak for the entire Internet: We get it.

Yes, I know this is an urban legend, but it still amuses me. What also amuses me is that they thought they were going to make a solo Human Torch solo movie.
