Howdy!

Hello, friends and fellow nerds. A quick story:

I was in the process of doing a review, and then the world ended. I work in IT, in the educational field. The entire world changed over night.

End of story.

One of our kids is immuno-compromised, so even leaving the house has been super stressful. My daughter got a job in a grocery store.

In the middle of a pandemic.

On one hand, it makes me proud that she chose the same first job I did, but worrying about her constantly has been tough. Still though, I’m happy to see she’s going to be a worker and not expect everything to be handed to her. </old man rant>

So far, everyone in my immediate sphere is safe, healthy, and as happy as they can be given the situation. For that, I am extremely thankful. We have a roof over our heads, and I am still employed. I don’t take that for granted.

For someone who receives as many packages as I do (that’s what she said), we developed a process for bringing in the packages. That process involves me going outside and blasting the mailbox/package box (two different things at my place) with Lysol. Then open the box. I spray enough of the package to grab it. I bring it inside, where I lay it on the floor, blast it with Lysol, flip it, blast it again, then I let it sit there and think about what it’s done.

I don’t feel like a crazy person at all while I’m doing any of this.

I hope all of you are doing well. I know this can be a lonely time for those of us in isolation, so please feel free to hit me up on social media if you need to talk. We can talk about toys or Star Wars or comic books or movies or the soul-crushing existential threat we all deal with every single day.

Every. Single. Day.

During all of this, I thought to myself, “I can get a WHOLE BUNCH OF PHOTOS DONE!” Then my OCD happened, and I couldn’t stop. In some odd way, I’ve started looking forward to the picture taking part more than the writing part. As a writer, I found this perplexing. Regardless, now, more than ever, we all need distractions, so I set a hard cut off. After a certain point, I stopped considering figures for this batch.

Long story short, between the figures, head sculpts, accessories, and clothing, the cut off ended up being about 34 different articles. A few things I let under the cut-off, but only because they were related to what I was shooting at the time. I am editing pictures and writing as fast as I can with everything else.

But here’s the good news: Expect new content to start dropping next Tuesday. I hope you enjoy it. If not, I hope you don’t tell me about it. You people know how I feel about other people’s opinions.

In all seriousness, stay safe, guys. Treat everyone as if they have this thing. Be kind to everyone. We all need each other.

See you next week!
