James Rhodes has been in the Marvel universe since 1976. I was three years old. Needless to say, I didn’t read his initial stories. The first time I saw Rhodey in an Iron Man suit, it was 1983 in Iron Man Annual 6. I had no idea what was going on, but I loved it.
Don Cheadle has portrayed him in almost all of the character’s appearances in the MCU, but outside of an older War Machine (Maybe MK2?) figure, we don’t have a good Cheadle headsculpt.
That seems wrong to me, so I picked up this guy from my pal Jie over at VCTOYSBOX. It looks like he is getting ready to take some more orders on him. If you’re a MCU fan, a Cheadle fan, or War Machine fan, it wouldn’t hurt to pick it up.
He fits ok on my Legends MK 6, and my Figuarts 3 and 4.
