@juicetincustoms is quick becoming my guilty pleasure. When I get paid, I hit his eBay shop and try to pick up something. Sometimes it’s a “wooden” crate, sometimes it’s an effects piece.
If you’re like me, you can’t have too many accessories. As I find them, I try to make you, my favorite reader, aware of them (like the suit up gantry!). With that in mind, I picked up his custom, 3-D printed Coin-op Bubble gum machine. Unlike his other items that ship out immediately, this one took a couple of weeks. It was a preorder, so this is expected. It’s not like I was having emergencies that required a 1:12 bubble gum machine.
But now if I did have said emergency, I’d be prepared to address it. Extra cool points are awarded for the bubble gum balls actually rolling around. Here is a close up of the front of the unit.
On one side of the bubble gum machine is “graffiti” in the form of Spider-Man’s face.
On the other, Thor’s hammer.
Coincidentally, that was the nickname I gave my genitals in high school, “Thor’s Hammer.” For some reason, it never stuck. Instead, its nickname was “Disappointment.” We can’t all be winners.
On the third side is some general graffiti.
If you’re interested in picking one up, you can look at his eBay store here. You may be saying to yourself, “I don’t need a 1:12 Bubblegum dispenser.” You’re probably right. However, the counterpoint is that we exist within the confines of a hobby where NONE OF IT IS NEEDED.
If you’re not an action figure photographer, this is probably an easy pass. If you’re looking for an added dash of realism in your displays though, little things like this help.
As far as the customer service, it’s top notch. If it isn’t as preorder, I usually have it in a matter of days. Everything I’ve received so far is a very nice quality. Well worth your time to at least give him a look.
