Ho ho ho! Haha! Time for something pretty badass!
I’ve never heard of John Walker Customs prior to this purchase. I just came across him on Instagram somehow. It was quite fortuitous that the first item I saw was the Star Wars Heavy Cannons for your clones. At $10 a pop, they’re practically a steal as far as custom items go.
I picked up three of them, thinking I could pop two in my Figuarts Clones and one in a Hasbro Black Series Commander of my choice. Sadly, it was not to be.
They work great with your Hasbro Clones (so Rex, or Gree, for example). However, the Figuarts hands aren’t great for this item. The trigger finger hands are closed, so you can’t pop the handle in there. I did try blue tack to no avail.
I am not sure if this was a one and done thing with him, or if he sells these on-demand. However, I am sure we will see more cool stuff from him in the future, so he’s worth a follow.
The ordering process was straightforward. Reached out to him in DM on the ol’ IG, and he responded politely with clear instructions. I had the items in hand before I even had a chance to think, “I wonder when those cannons are coming in?” That’s all I can expect from a one-person shop, really. The items arrived in a nondescript package, with no fancy graphics. Just wrapped in enough bubble wrap that they showed up in perfect condition.
I hope you like the pics, but more importantly, I hope we continue to support guys like this who fill the gaps left by bigger companies like Hasbro and Bandai.
