The question no one in their right mind would ever ask… “Justcrash, what do you think of the S.H. Figuarts Flash vs DC Multiverse Flash?” I’m glad you didn’t ask. I’d think less of you. However, I need content and my band has a show coming up, which means all of my spare time is going towards promotion and getting ready for the show. This is what you get.
S.H. Figuarts Flash vs DC Multiverse Flash – Sculpt
Figuarts uses face printing technology to capture the digital likeness of whatever actor they are sculpting. Mattel uses police sketch art as described to law enforcement by an unrepentant acid dropper.
Winner – Figuarts
S.H. Figuarts Flash vs DC Multiverse Flash – Accessories
Figuarts comes with three sets of hands. Not a lot, but is it enough for this face off? Well, Mattel shipped their’s with sadness, so I’d say “yes.”
Winner – Figuarts
S.H. Figuarts Flash vs DC Multiverse Flash – Articulation
While the Figuarts Flash lacks an ab crunch and enough ankle articulation, the Multiverse Flash articulation scheme reminds me of what it’d be like if the late, great Stephen Hawking was a speedster. In other words, not a lot.
Winner – Figuarts
S.H. Figuarts Flash vs DC Multiverse Flash – And the winner is?
If you’re super mad at new math, I’ll help you. The Figuarts Flash opens the Multiverse Flash’s box up in Walmart, figure swaps it with Lady Beetle from the Absorbing man wave, takes the Flash figure home, and Kathy Bates from Misery’s it. That was a weird sentence. Odder still, if you’ve never seen James Cann and Kathy Bates in Misery. You should probably watch it. It’s definitely more entertaining than the hate letter to collectors that the Multiverse line has been to this point.
Overall Winner – Figuarts!
Run, Barry, Run.
