I knew when I received my Rhino Diorama Bat Computer (one of my most popular articles), that it wouldn’t be my last purchase from the company. I just didn’t know how quickly I’d have multiple pieces of their work. Not long after I received my Bat Computer, the gent that runs the business contacted me and wanted to know if I was interested in some new items. Four in total, consisting of a Bat Armory, Bat Chamber, Bat Light Table, and Bat Weapon Crate.
All four of them look fantastic, with excellent craftsmanship. All four light up, powered by cr2032 batteries. If I had the room, these would stay up permanently in my Extreme Studios Cave Pop Up. I don’t, but they will come out for every damn Batman shot if I have any say in it.
The Bat Armory
This one threw me for a loop a little bit until I reached out to the fella at Rhino and outed myself as a moron. He took the news well and pointed me to some blue tack. Fortunately, I had some on hand. Crisis averted.
The Bat Chamber
The perfect “Hall of Bats” accompaniment. The downside is that unlike Iron Man, most of Bruce’s rich boy outfits expose the bottom half of the face. Not a detriment to the piece itself, but more of a general statement towards the Bat manufacturing community. Give us some empty headed sculpts!
The Bat Light Up Table
This one is kind of a 3-in-1 deal. You get the table which can be used in a lot of places (in other words, a light up table with no bat emblem can belong to Tony Stark, or T’Challa, or The Avengers, or anyone who enjoys light up furniture). In addition, you get a little computer to place on top and in case you didn’t have any, you get a set of 3D printed Batarangs (four total). All of them are great. Don’t believe me? Take a look.
The Bat Weapon Crate
The weapon crate looks like a thick briefcase, with a side handles and a Bat-Insignia placed squarely on top for a fantastic presentation. When you open it up, you get a host of Batarangs and other Bat-Goodies. It’s for aesthetic purposes only; none of the items can be removed from the case. However, that was never my expectation.
Of the four items, the only one I have anything to criticize is on this case. Maybe it was just mine, but I had a dickens of a time getting the lid to stay open so I could get a clear shot of it. At the end of the day, it’s a very tiny issue that I worked around.
These Rhino Diorama Bat Accessories are of incredible quality with the ability to bring any Bat display to life. The designs seemed rooted in the Nolan-verse, but are applicable across the board for almost any Batman scenario.
Yes, as an adult, I just typed the sentence, “applicable across the board for almost any Batman scenario.” No, I will not apologize.
If you’re interested in the items, or the business itself, you can check them out here. Really, just an amazing group of items that any Bat-Collector needs. Now all I need is a giant penny and a large T-Rex and my Batcave is complete!
