The NOTA Hammer and Shield pack is a great way to prevent Bandai from taking about $100 from us when they decide to release an Endgame Captain America with these accessories.
I picked the kit up here at one of my favorite sites. It comes with several pieces. The packaging is neatly organized and easy to sort through.
We get half a shield:
We get Mjolnir and two custom hands for him to hold the shield and hammer. If I didn’t know these hands didn’t come with the figure itself, I’d be hard pressed to believe they were not made by Bandai.
We get an alternate head for Mjolnir, to mimic it being lit up with lightning.
And the last pack in included with the NOTA Hammer and Shield is a spinning hammer effect. I am so happy we have this. I have a similar effect piece for a Marvel Select Thor that always is on display. This one is a little different, as the peg for him to hold it seems like it will stretch his hand a bit. Additionally, it’s a heavy piece that makes posing him a little tough. Still… it looks fantastic.
The NOTA Hammer and Shield is a great piece of kit for your collection. If you are a fan of the MCU, Endgame in particular, or you want to make your Captain America figure poop on the shelf, this is the kit for you.
Personally, I feel like the shield holding system on this pack is soooo much nicer than the clumsy, hard and frustrating setup Bandai gives us with every cap shield. I did order the Manipple damaged shield, so once that is in, I can compare the two for you.
