There is nothing extraordinary about the Marvel Legends Alpha Flight Box Set. Its a repack of the Puck BAF and the rest of the team we didn’t get individually (Vindicator) or BAF (Sasquatch).
The rest of the Marvel Legends Alpha Flight figures all have standard Marvel Legend articulation. That means that if the inability of the female figures to stand or have double jointed elbows bothers you, its gonna bother you X3 now.
I can’t say I’m a big fan, but there was a period in the 80’s and early 90’s where we saw them a lot. It seems like nowadays they only show up when we need a way to show how powerful a new bad guy is and they want a group of collective asses to beat. I’m not sure if that was because of Byrne’s heat coming off of Fantastic Four or X-men, or if the world was in a place where we wanted our Canadian Bacon right next to our apple pie.
Regardless, this is the classic look of the characters I grew up with, which suggests that perhaps my Gen X’er self was the target market.
It worked.
I know Wolverine wasn’t part of the team but I really like how he looks with them, so now you can look at it.
