The Star Wars The Black Series General Veers is the first release for Maximilian Veers, as portrayed by Julian Glover in The Empire Strikes Back. Leading the assault on Echo 1 Base on Hoth, Veer’s AT-AT assault crushed the Rebel shield generator.
I had no idea his character was so flushed out in the EU. If you enjoyed the movie or the character, check out his story. This is just my opinion, but I think he may be the most successful, on-screen Imperial leader we’ve seen just south of Thrawn on Rebels (or in Zahn’s books).

What is in the Star Wars The Black Series General Veers box?
Much like other Black Series figures I have reviewed, the Star Wars The Black Series General Veers comes with an impressive amount of pack-ins for a domestic, mass released figure.
We get the figure itself, with an outstanding facial printing. We get his officer cap, which is removable, a set of At-At pilot armor (helmet and chest piece), and a pistol. This allows for a lot of flexibility in your displays and photographs. Take a look.
What doesn’t work with the Star Wars The Black Series General Veers?
I am not sure how much I can complain about a figure I never thought I’d see, with this many accessories, but I’m going to try. Never let anyone tell you I’m a quitter.
The single jointed elbows are disappointing. As is the lack of leg articulation. I think his officer cap would be easy to lose if you’re not careful.
