Star Wars The Black Series Moloch Review

With the face printing tech Hasbro has at its disposal, I find myself purchasing more Black Series figures than ever before. I went from only buying a figure here or there, to finding myself wanting entire waves.

The Target Exclusive Gamorrean Guard was all I could ever want from a green pigman. So why not pick up the Star Wars The Black Series Moloch, right? I really enjoyed Solo, and even though Moloch had a very small role, he was another cool alien in the Star Wars universe.

PLUS I found him on sale.

I was in no way prepared for my first ever Star Wars Dildo, which is pretty much the functionality and posing abilities of this figure.

What’s in the Star Wars The Black Series Moloch Box?

Moloch is a deluxe Black Series figure, so the box is larger than normal. As far as content, you get a staff, a blaster, a faceplate, and a worm dildo.

What doesn’t work with the Star Wars The Black Series Moloch?

His bottom torso is a solid hunk of worm plstic. But to be fair, what should we have expected? I like saying the word dildo, but the reality is, he is pretty much what I would expect havng seen the movie.

I will say it bothers my OCD that his faceplate doesn’t really lock into the rest of the environmental (sunlight/UV proof?) helmet.

What works with the Star Wars The Black Series Black Moloch?

The detail on his robes is actually very well done, as is the head sculpt. I like cool looking aliens and droids in my Stars Wars displays and The Star Wars Black Series Moloch fits the bill nicely.

Should you pick up the Star Wars The Black Series Moloch?

I got him when Target was running a sale and received 15% off. And if I am being completely honest, my girlfriend picked him up for me, so my out of pocket cost was $0 and just a little dignity.

I say if you can find him for less than retail, grab him. He’s a neat little figure. You can get him at your local Target, or at the normal online retailers.
